As the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced an official Note 7 recall program on September 15 (local time) after accepting Samsung Electronics’ voluntary recall plans, the company seems to be passing the Galaxy Note 7 recall crisis.

Samsung Electronics announced on the 18th that it would start exchange its faulty device for the new Galaxy Note 7 with a new battery on the 19th in Korea. The company said that it began the Galaxy Note 7 exchange program in Singapore on the 16th (local time). 

In addition, Samsung Electronics is in talks with the authorities and mobile carriers by countries how to separate the new product from the early shipments. In fact, the company decided to change the color of battery power level bar on the screen of the device in Korea. The faulty device has a white bar for the battery power levels while the new one has a green bar.

Samsung Electronics said that it plans to complete the Galaxy Note 7 exchange program by offering news devices required in Korea and the U.S. until the end of this month.
