The 5G Innovation Center of the University of Surrey and the Institute for Information & communications Technology Promotion (IITP) of South Korea signed a memorandum of understanding during the forum as well for collaborations on 5G mobile communications. In addition, the South Korean participants discussed AI policy and issues with the Government Office for Science and the Royal Society of London for the Improvement of Natural Knowledge for the development of AI as the foundation of the fourth industrial revolution.

Down the road, the two countries are going to provide their representative smart city services for each other while seeking for ways to better interconnect South Korea’s ICT to the advanced financial infrastructure of the U.K.
