To Meet Growing Demand

AmorePacific, South Korea's largest cosmetics maker, announced that it will build a plant in the industrial region of Nusajaya, Johor, Malaysia by 2020 in response to the growing demand in the ASEAN markets.

The company is currently in the process of purchasing the site. Since the industrial zone in Nusajaya is located near Singapore and other major Asian countries, it is considered a hub of major trade routes connecting east and west.

It will be the beauty product maker’s third overseas plant following the ones in Sartre, France and Shanghai, China.

AmorePacific aspires to join the ranks of global beauty companies through the expansion of production sites in the hopes that it will help increase the company’s market share in the ASEAN countries that are becoming increasingly significant.
