Functional and Beautiful
Hyosung and Renoma Swim, a leading Korean swimwear brand, collaborated to release products that meet consumer needs.
Recently consumers prefer products which are both functional and beautiful. Therefore, sales of athleisure products, which are versatile and can be worn both as sportswear and beachwear, are sharply on the rise.
In response to the trend, Hyosung and Renoma have jointly launched crop top rash guard and bikini swimsuits targeting women in their 20s and 30s. These products are characterized by being colorful and comfortable to wear. In addition, they have tropical prints, which is a trend of this year, increasing customer satisfactions.
Renoma used creora® Power Fit and creora® Highclo™, the high functional spandex products made by Hyosung, in its products. Swimsuits made of creora® Power Fit, a spandex with high power and excellent heat resistance, look stylish. Swimsuits made of creora® Highclo™ are five to ten times more durable than those made of ordinary spandex as the creora® Highclo™ minimizes degradation by chemicals used for swimming pool sterilization. These products also retain their shapes even when they are used in a hot spring with high temperature or smeared with cosmetics or oil.
Renoma also used Hyosung' Mipan Aqua-X, a nylon fiber which provides cool touch and protection from ultraviolet radiation and thus is suitable for summer sportswear, in the new products. The nylon fiber is getting favorable reactions from customers as its high water and sweat absorption reduces the wearer’s body temperature through evaporative cooling.
