It has now become easier than ever to sell K-Style (Korean Style) products online in Taiwan.

Cafe24, a global e-commerce platform, announced on July 28 that it has opened a branch in Taipei, Taiwan, in a bid to actively support for the companies selling K-Style products to make an easier inroad into the Chinese-speaking market.

Taiwan is the fourth largest e-commerce market in Asia, following China, Japan, and South Korea. K-Fashion, K-Beauty, and other Korean products are gaining popularity at a brisk pace as K-pop and K-drama have been already built into the Taiwanese culture.

Under the circumstances, cafe24’s Taiwanese branch will play a major role for the liaison with the Chinese-speaking market. The branch office in Taiwan will support customer services, translation, logistics, and localized marketing, while managing trademark rights and brands.

Cafe24 CEO Lee Jae-suk said, “K-Style is popular and well received in Taiwan, and the e-commerce market is growing exponentially since the smartphone and LTE service penetration rates are high.” He added that cafe24 will offer a full-fledged support to anyone who is planning to expand his or her business into the market.

Cafe24 has a total of seven global branches, including those in China, Japan, the Philippines, and the US. It also offers various language packs including those in English, Chinese (traditional & simplified,) Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, and more.
