Selling Solar Modules
POSCO Daewoo said that it signed 30MW supply contracts with Osgood Solar and other American solar power generators, valued at 20 billion won (US$17.62 million), at Intersolar North America 2016 held in San Francisco on July 15. Intersolar North America is the energy-related trade fair held every year in the U.S. city.
In addition to its strategic partner Hyundai Heavy Industries' world-class manufacturing technologies, POSCO Daewoo’s extensive global sales network and financing capability are behind this landmark contract.
As interest in eco-friendly energy and global demand for solar power are rising these days, POSCO Daewoo is developing various solar power equipment businesses from raw materials, semi-finished and to completed products – polysilicon, cell and to modules, focusing on the establishment of the solar value chain.
