Early this year, Samsung Electronics released the Galaxy A9. This product coming with a six-inch full-HD screen, which made its debut in China, is the largest one among the Galaxy A series smartphones.
The Galaxy A9 Pro has been released in the countries including China based on the popularity of the Galaxy A9. The Galaxy A9 Pro has the same display specifications along with Snapdragon 652 processor, 4 GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory, 5,000 mAh battery, 16-megapixel rear camera and eight-megapixel front camera.
In the meantime, Huawei recently launched the Mate 8, another six-inch full-HD smartphone. This model is equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery, which can last for 2.36 days once fully charged and play back HD videos for 17 hours in a row. Xiaomi’s first smartphone exceeding six inches in screen size has the name of Mi Max. This product comes with a 6.44-inch full-HD screen and a 4,850 mAh battery.
The recent popularity of such large-screen smartphones can be attributed to an increase in the use of multimedia content and the stagnation of the growth of the tablet PC market. According to market research firm Strategy Analytics, a total of 46.5 million tablet PCs were sold around the world in the first quarter of this year, 10% less than a year ago.
