Taggle, a mobile startup which is developing a hashtag-based photo gallery service, announced on July 11 that it has attracted a total of one billion won investment from Magellan Technology Investment and UTC Investment.

Taggle has developed its photo gallery service to allow smart phone users easier search and organization of photos. Its multi-tagging lets users label multiple tags on the photos, enabling them to find specific photos in just seconds.

Taggle has filed an international design patent application for its photo organization technology and is increasing its market share by replacing gallery apps in the global market.

Choi Hyun-jae, the CEO of Taggle, said, “With this investment, Taggle can accelerate its effort to advance its service and marketing capabilities. Taggle will do its best to turn into a successful global company.”
