E-Land Fashion China, a wholly owned subsidiary of the E-Land Group in China, announced on June 23 that it has posted the highest sales among domestic companies conducting business in China.

The company had a turnover of 68.4 million yuan (12.9 billion won) via Alibaba's Tmall, the nation’s largest online retailer, during China’s largest shopping event in the first half of the year held from the 18th to 20th. The figure was up a whopping 157 percent from 26.6 million yuan (4.63 billion won) a year earlier. The group’s 16 brands, including two casual clothing brands, three SPA brands, four women’s clothing brands, two men’s clothing brands, two children clothing brands, two underwear brands and one accessory brand, attended the event.

E-Land selected 30 best-selling products, which accounted for 30 percent of the total sales in the past six months, and secured the supply of them in advance. Keeping pace with the characteristic that mobile purchasing takes up more than 85 percent of online sales, the company offered a free gift to consumers with mobile data. In particular, E-Land has established the offline to online (O2O) system which links its offline stores with online channels, and improved its inventory management efficiency and sales this year.

Meanwhile, E-Land posted 175 million yuan (31.7 billion won) in sales through Tmall on Singles' Day in China on November 11 last year.

E-Land Fashion China commenced operation in China in 1994 and currently runs 8,000 offline stores across the nation.
