KT Release ‘Biz Communicator Service’

KT Corp., the nation's second-largest mobile carrier, announced on June 19 that it has released “KT biz Communicator” service. The new total wired and wireless integrated service for businesses has combined its corporate mobile interphone “m InnerTel” video conference solution which allows users to answer incoming calls to a work phone number via smartphones. 

The KT biz Communicator, which claims to stand for “smart communication”, includes cooperation work systems, such as video conference, online education, document sharing which can improve the business profitability, as well as existing communication-centered functions, like organization chart, wired and wireless no-charge calls within a company, secured chatting and document transmission.

The new cloud-based service is expected to significantly raise the productivity of small and mid-size firms as users can easily use the service through smartphones, personal computers and tablets at anytime, anywhere.

Kim Ki-taek, director of the GiGA business division at KT, said, “As a business model co-developed by Korean firms instead of global leading firms, the KT biz significantly helps revive the stagnant domestic IT ecosystem. We are planning to add customer management and scheduling functions in July so that businesses can easily manage customers.”
