Korea Expressway Corporation announced that it has received a “presidential citation for invention promotion,” the top award in the group sector, at the 51st Day of Invention held at COEX Auditorium on May 19.

The state-run company was awarded the prize as it was credited with leading the development of road technologies by winning numerous awards at road traffic invention contests at home and abroad and contributing to the improvement of the national competitiveness by opening its patents and lowering licensing fees.
