Paradise Group said on Apr. 18 that it has selected Kim Soo-hyun as an ambassador of Paradise Casino, the nation’s largest foreigner-only casino, and Paradise City, a resort complex slated to open in the first half of next year.
As the group chose Kim Soo-hyun, which is one of hallyu stars gaining explosive popularity in China and Japan, as its honorary ambassador, it seeks to increase the attractiveness of Paradise City as the tourism content and improve the corporate image as a global resort complex operator.
Kim Soo-hyun will serve as the promotional ambassador for five Paradise Casinos in Korea and Paradise City, the nation’s first resort complex that is under construction in Yeongjong Island, Incheon, this year. Then, he will start expanding its advertisement in the first half of next year when Paradise City opens.
An official from Paradise Group said, “For the successful launching of Paradise City, the group has selected Kim Soo-hyun, a blue-chip model for the global advertising industry, as its honorary ambassador. The Kim Soo-hyun syndrome is expected to play an important role in introducing various charms of Paradise Casino and K-culture based Paradise City.”
