LG’s high-end Android smartphone G2 beat the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, ranking top in a survey by an IT information website.

On September 9, US-based IT news site Phone Arena conducted an Internet survey by asking the question, “Which mobile phone would you choose?” The survey results show that 28.31% of people (2,237 out of 7,902) prefer the G2, allowing LG Electronics' smartphone to occupy a top ranking position. The Galaxy Note 3, on the other hand, was selected by 24.06% of people (1,901), lagging behind the G2 by 4.25%.

The next favorite smartphone was Sony’s Xperia Z1 with 18.69% (1,477 people), followed by HTC’s One at 13.16% (1,040people), and Samsung’s Galaxy 4 with 8.55% (676 people).

The survey is not the only one that shows the G2's popularity. Earlier, the LG smartphone also defeated the Galaxy 4 in a performance review by Phone Arena. In addition, in an August survey conducted by the website, G2 was the most popular choice (39.88%) ahead of the One (23.68%) and the Galaxy 4 (22.74%).
