The Industrial Bank of Korea, or IBK (CEO Kwon Seon-joo), announced on April 4 that it held a business seminar at the main office in Euljiro in Jung-gu, Seoul. At the event, eight Israeli cybersecurity firms, such as Checkmarx and Cyberbit, introduced their main services.

Also, the event was hosted by the IBK, the Israeli Embassy in Seoul and the Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute, and attended by 50 employees from IBK System and Shay Feiler, the head of the Israeli Embassy's economic and trade mission in South Korea.

In a bid to seek a mutual cooperation with fintech companies, IBK has been holding business seminars for fintech firms since August last year.

This was the fifth seminar. Until now, the bank held the event with the themes of Big Data, blockchain security and robo-advisor technologies.
