SK Broadband signed an MOU for cooperation in the communication broadcasting network management with Telkom, Indonesia's largest state-run telecommunication company.

 

SK Broadband will export the communication broadcasting network management systems to Telkom, Indonesia's largest state-run telecommunications and network provider, and start a joint media platform project from the second half of this year. Accordingly, SK Broadband’s media services will be used in Indonesia, while various Indonesian contents will be available in Korea as well.

SK Broadband announced on March 30 that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for comprehensive cooperation with Telkom to jointly carry out media platform projects and provide communications network operation management systems.

Under the agreement, SK Broadband will supply the automated scheduling system, which automatically schedules when to register for subscribers, Fiber To The Home (FTTH) operation management system and consulting services for marketing and customer service on communication service.

The two companies will form a working group in Indonesia in May and discuss when to educate and adopt SK Broadband’s automated scheduling system and FTTH operation management system. In addition, SK Broadband will establish the network and provide consulting services for marketing and customer service.
