The LG G2 has opened in all major markets around the world.

LG's Android smartphone G2 has been said to be superior to Samsung's Galaxy 4. The general consensus of IT media, the G2 managed to beat the Galaxy 4, proving its technical skills.

On September 3, US-based IT news site Phone Arena evaluated both smartphones in design, screen, user environment, processor, memory, connectivity, multimedia, call quality, and batteries. It gave a score of 9.3 to the Galaxy 4 and a score of 9.4 points to the G2.

LG Electronics’ phone received positive reviews for the industry's first touch button at the back. In particular, the website pointed out, "The new position of a touch button is very appropriate." With fingers already positioned there, any moves to hold the phone differently or to stretch fingers in order to press the button are not required. Thanks to a narrower black border around the screen, it is said to be as much as 0.2 inches wider, even though the two smartphones are similar in size.

The G2 was also praised for its camera. The web site said that the Galaxy 4 has clearer image quality, but the G2 can take more dynamic pictures with rich color tones. Even when photos are taken indoors, there is little image noise. In addition, shaken images are rare with the help of optical image stabilization (OIS).

Phone Arena finally commented, "After nearly half a year, Samsung’s flagship has finally found its match. Ignoring price for a second, we see no reason why you’d get the Galaxy S4 over the LG G2. The latter is faster and better. "
