As rumors spread that Apple will use new ceramic materials for iPhone 7, the related rendering image came out.

According to Chinese IT website MyDrivers on February 2, Sina.com raised the possibility of Apple introducing new ceramic materials in the iPhone 7, and iPhone users already created a rendering image based on the report.

It is still unclear what kind of new materials Apple will use in the iPhone 7, but Apple is expected to remove antenna bands on the rear body, which have had adverse effects in the iPhone design, and to improve its durability.

When looking at the rendering image, which has been created based on rumors, the iPhone 7 will feature a Super AMOLED display panel, improved 3D Touch technology, Apple’s A10 processor, and 12-megapixel rear-camera. It will also equipped with waterproof and high-speed charging functions, while it will remove the standard 3.5mm headphone jack. Compared with the iPhone 6S, the phone will feature major changes in terms of component and function.

To be sure, it remains to be seen what the real iPhone 7 will look like. Since its growth has been slowed down with the iPhone 6S as its starting point, Apple will bank on the iPhone 7, which is likely to be announced in September this year.
