World Class Faculty

On Dec. 17, George Mason University Korea officially announced that Bachelor of Science degrees for Accounting and Finance will be offered in addition to their existing degrees starting this Spring 2016 semester.

The new Accounting and Finance majors are two primary programs of George Mason University’s School of Business, which is ranked by U.S. News & World Report in the top 10 percent of all schools accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

The school aims to educate students as business experts with strong analytical skills and a global mind. To achieve these goals, George Mason University Korea leverages their students to learn from the same world-class faculty as the U.S. campus with the university’s top-notch curriculum.

With the addition of Accounting and Finance to the existing Management major, George Mason University Korea will become one of the top business schools in Korea, both in name and offerings.

Dr. Steven Lee, president of George Mason University Korea, said, “I am thrilled that the Accounting and Finance majors were approved by the Ministry of Education. These additions will provide a foundation for George Mason University Korea to become the only business school at the Incheon Global Campus.”

Starting in Spring 2016, George Mason University Korea will offer five majors – Accounting, Finance, Management, Economics and Global Affairs. The Economics Department will offer not only B.S. but also B.A. degrees.

In addition, on Dec. 19, George Mason University Korea will hold an open house on-campus Info Session at BEXCO in Busan. These events will offer detailed information about the school, application process, campus life and more details regarding the Accounting and Finance major.
