Coway announced on Dec. 7 that it formed a partnership with the Korean office of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) in order to sponsor various activities of the office for five years until 2020.

According to their agreement, a certain portion of the profits generated by Coway’s sale of refurbished products is to be donated for the purpose of the continuation of the well water project in Cambodia.

In addition, Coway is going to support the office’s campaigns for raising the awareness of environmental protection, spread of environment friendly products, etc.

“Coway has worked on various techniques so as to minimize the environmental impact of business activities and products and its efforts for energy conservation and carbon emissions reduction have been praised by many,” said Kim Dong-hyun, president and CEO of Coway, adding, “We will continue to fulfill our corporate social responsibility based on our philosophy and expertise for making the world a better place by means of what we do.”
