Arcinteractive has released a professional version of “Turnble,” a 360-degree multi angle cam which can film multi-view videos in real time.

It is easier to understand about multi-view videos when you think about the famous scene of the movie “Matrix”, which was released in 1999 and became a huge hit around the world. Keanu Reeves' iconic slow-motion bullet dodge scene was shot with the flow motion method using more than 120 still cameras at the same time. This technique has changed the path of imaging technology since then.

Arcinteractive’s Turnble will allow you to produce 360-degree multi angle videos easily, which have been possible with a considerable amount of people, equipment and time. All you need is the small cam and monitor of the Turnble. When you use more than three Turnble cams, Matrix-like slow motion scenes will be shot and edited in real time and then played back instantly. The cam can shoot videos with more than 60fps of HD resolution, and it will be sold through online markets in the future so that general users can film multi-view videos easily.

Arcinteractive received favorable reviews with “NthViewer,” a multi-viewpoint viewer that plays videos without the slightest of delays. The professional version of the Turnble is a combined platform of the NthViewer and the multi-view cam.

Multi angle videos will be widely utilized in diverse areas, such as postural correction in sports, including golf, fashion, shopping and entertainment videos. In fact, Arcinteractive first used the Turnble to correct golf swing positions. When shooting golf swings with the Turnble cam, you can check your swing posture from various angles in real time. Since you can even check all the postures, which cannot be seen with the naked eye, the product is useful to change the postures of golf players. The company is also developing the slow motion function in order to take a closer look at golf swing postures.

Arcinteractive CEO Song Hun-joo said, “As posture correction is most important in golf than any other sports, golf users showed the heated reaction. We are planning to install the Turnble in indoor golf courses first in the future.”
