Water Expo Korea 2015
Hosted by Daegu Metropolitan City, the expo offers information about each country’s water industry policy, networking, partnership establishment and overseas water industry trend. Also, it is the nation’s largest water-related forum that holds international and professional conferences and various experience events.
In the exhibition, the sectors of water treatment, membrane, comprehensive design engineering, water supply and drainage, water reuse, water resources development, seawater desalination and public relations will be displayed.
Major participating companies are GS Engineering & Construction, which has jumped up to be a leading global water company after taking over Spain’s Inima, one of the world’s top 10 water treatment companies, Royal Precision Industry Co., the nation’s number one centrifuge manufacturer, Dohwa Engineering, the nation’s number one engineering consulting company, Hyolim Industry, which carries out high-efficiency seawater desalination projects abroad, including Middle East, as well as the domestic water treatment business, Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-water), environmental friendly water resources developer, and some Korean membrane manufacturers. Synopex, a company specializing in membrane which has recently obtained the patent of high-intensity membrane production for the first time in the world, will also take part in.
Also, about 80 companies and institutions related to water treatment, water supply and drainage and membrane, including Samjin Precision Co. and Shinjeung Mach. Co., which are the leading companies in the water and sewage valve sector, Korea Castiron Pipe Ind., which have produced water supply and drainage pipes for 60 years, Ulleung Deep Sea Drinking Water Cheongara, which produces natural bedrock seawater products for disease prevention, will attend the event. In the expo, there will be special theme exhibition halls, including Daegu Metropolitan City Water Industry Cluster Promotion Hall.
Hosted by the research center for water industry convergence at Kyungpook National University and EXCO, moreover, the International Water Nexus Conference will take place in order to exchange latest information about the water industry technologies, markets, companies, policies, trends and environmental changes. At the conference, great scholars in the water industry will have lectures and discussions.
