LG Household & Healthcare (CEO Cha Suk-yong) has selected the world’s top model Coco Rocha, who works as a both fashion and beauty model, as a new model of its young prestige makeup brand “VDL.”
Coco Rocha currently has more than 16 million followers on Google+ and released a book, “Study of Pose,” which catalogs over 1,000 poses from 100 angles. The company has chosen her as the new global model of VDL in overseas markets in the future, including Hong Kong, Singapore, and Korea.
Coco Rocha will start working as the model for the VDL Holiday Collection in Oct. in earnest. During the recent filming of a VDL commercial in New York, she showed a charming look and energetic and sensual poses. So, she is expected to receive a positive consumer response.
An official from VDL Cosmetics said, “We have selected Coco Rocha as oure new model, since we thought her chic and sophisticated image and explosive energy correspond with the international and professional make-up sensibility that VDL is aiming for.
