LG Display (CEO Han Sang-beom) announced that Park Jong-hyun, a senior researcher at the Plastic OLED technology team, will be listed in the Marquis Who’s Who in the World in 2016.
Park is an expert in the flexible display materials sector. In particular, he has become registered in the list, recognized for his achievements in research on “flexible display using transparent electrode” and “wearable and flexible OLED encapsulation technology” sector.
Also, Park published 17 papers and applied for 21 patents in the OLED and new materials sectors. In particular, his studies are considered crucial core technologies to develop wearable, flexible, and foldable OLED products.
He said, “The emerging flexible OLED-based wearable market will have infinite potential in the future, and I feel fulfilled because my studies related to this will be able to help technology development in the industry. I will work together with my team members to focus more on research in the future so I can play a part in developing the OLED technology that can lead the display industry in the world.”
