The Hyosung Group is promoting the nation’s first carbon fiber brand of Tansome in global markets in Sept., focusing mainly on China and Europe.

The company participated in the China Composites Expo 2015, an international exhibition that presents composite materials, held in Shanghai, China, from Sept. 4 to 6. Also, it will take part in the Composites Europe 2015 held in Stuttgart, Germany, for three days from Sept. 22 to 24.

Composites Europe is the largest carbon composite materials exhibition in Europe, attended by Europe’s major carbon composites clients and competitors. At the event, Hyosung will showcase various products made with Tansome, such as compressed natural gas (CNG) high pressure containers, and wire duramen. At the same time, the company plans to grasp the trend of the carbon fiber composites market and its competitors, and take preemptive action of customer needs in order to actively secure new customers. Participating in the China Composites Expo 2014, Hyosung raised the brand awareness of Tansome in the Asian markets, spread sales activities, and got new customers, attracting attention from client firms.

The company will join the event, along with small and mid-size firms in the carbon materials industry, including Axia Materials, the thermoplastic carbon fiber composite material manufacturer, and CASE, the bag and case producer with carbon fiber and aramid fiber, so that they can actively provide support with overseas marketing campaigns to smaller firms with great technology, which are struggling to find sales outlets.
