LG Electronics is hosting a road show in eight of China's major cities to promote its strategic home appliances, starting with Nanjing.

The company showcased its high-end products at the upscale shopping mall of Wanda Plaza in Nanjing, the capital of China's eastern province of Jiangsu, and created a tryout zone earlier this month.

The road show will be held in a bid to promote LG’s differentiated technology and convenience and offer Chinese customers an opportunity to experience its products. Starting with the event in Nanjing, the road show will take place sequentially in China’s major cities of Beijing, Shenyang, Harbin, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Chongqing, until mid-September.

LG also hosted a road show in China’s major cities back in 2013, introducing its strategic products and establishing a premium image to local consumers.

In the road show in Nanjing this year, the company also unveiled the Styler, which will be on the market soon, by reflecting Chinese customers’ high interest in hygiene. The LG Styler, which is very well-received by consumers in the roadshow, features a Steam Refresh function, which is comprised of two features: Moving Hanger and Steam Spray Action. The Steam Spray feature helps keep clothes looking, feeling, and smelling refreshed, while the Moving Hanger Action feature gently shakes steamed items to reduce everyday wrinkles, odor, and dust. LG Electronics' premium Code Zero wireless vacuum cleaner also attracted customers’ attention with its strong suction force and convenience.

The company also introduced other products – a premium drum washer that features a steam function while reducing water consumption and a wash cycle, a washing machine that improves the washing power with strong water jets, the Double Magic Space refrigerator that boasts enhanced “magic” storage spaces which reduces cool air loss by half, and an ice water purifier refrigerator that combines a refrigerator and an ice water purifier with top fridge and bottom freezer.

LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution (H&A) Unit Chief Director Cho Sung-jin said, “We will aggressively target the Chinese market with our premium products, which meet the needs of local customers.”
