Best Minivan Ever
The Kia Sedona (Carnival in Korea) was selected as the Best Minivan in terms of customer satisfaction by J.D. Power & Associates, the world’s leading market research firm best known for its automotive quality surveys.
The American-based marketing information services firm announced on July 22 (local time) that the Sedona topped the survey of new-vehicle owners’ overall satisfaction with their vehicles in the first three months of ownership.
The survey was conducted for three months from Feb. to May and the results were divided into 10 categories and 95 subsections, such as a vehicle’s exterior and interior design, fuel economy, driving efficiency and audio system.
Previously, the Sedona was picked as the Best Minivan by an American automobile magazine Motor Trend based on its survey evaluated in the seven categories: safety, driving efficiency, fuel economy and maintenance cost, overtaking the Honda Odyssey, the Toyota Sienna, the Nissan Quest and the Chrysler Town & Country.
Meanwhile, the Sedona has sold 20,608 units in the U.S. market in the first half of this year. The figure is up 476.3 percent from the same period last year.
