New Undergarments

Lashevan, which has become a byword for men's functional underwear, has continuously succeeded in patent applications for “men’s functional underwear” all over the world, accelerating its overseas expansion.

The company has been granted patents in a total of 11 countries – the U.S., China, Japan, Australia, Israel, Mexico, Singapore, Egypt, Indonesia, Malaysia, and South Africa – to date. Also, it is currently filing patents in another 15 countries.

Meanwhile, Lashevan previously took out four patents in Korea. Among them, a 3D separation technology patent, which prevents one from sweating by naturally separating a man’s equipment from his thighs with a high-elasticity silicone band, is becoming known as “separated underwear.”

Lashevan’s underwear, using this patented technology, has sold one set per second on home shopping networks, creating a sensation. The product has recorded 10 billion won (US$8.88 million) in sales 9 months after launching, and it is showing unrivaled growth in the men’s underwear market. Also, the company opened “Lashevan Homme,” a popularized brand using Lashevan’s technology, in nearly 100 Lotte Mart stores in May, expanding its distribution networks to offline stores.

An official from Lashevan said, “The company has acquired patents in 11 countries around the world and is additionally filing for patents in 15 countries right now. By aggressively marketing the products with the patents, we will make every effort to introduce Lashevan’s technology to the whole world.”
