Hyundai Elevator has concluded a contract to supply a semi-automated product warehouse and logistics automation system to Hankook Tire’s new factory in Clarksville, Tennessee in the U.S., Hyundai Elevator said on July 6.

The value of the order is US$19,950,000.

Hyundai Elevator plans to complete the design of the logistics system with its own conveyor, sky-rav, and stacker cranes, which will be shipped in March 2016.

An official at Hyundai Elevator said that the company is aimed at complete the project by the second half of 2017.

Hyundai Elevator’s logistics automation equipment section provides a comprehensive service which consists of the automation of logistics, engineering, a process logistics system, and product logistics system, the company said.  The section’s domestic market share was 36 percent in 2013, ranked at the top.
