Hankook Tire is exclusive tire supplier of BMW Driving Center for nine consecutive years

Hankook Tire announced that it will continue to be the exclusive tire supplier of high-performance tires to BMW Driving Center operated by German premium car maker BMW Group Korea, for the ninth consecutive year.

Since the opening of the BMW Driving Center in 2014, Hankook Tire has established itself as a provider of top-tier tire technology and premium brand value by supplying tires to all test-drive vehicles used for the center's track and driving programs.

Tires supplied to the BMW Driving Center include Ventus S1 evo3 and Ventus S1 evo3 SUV from the from Ventus Premium Sports, Ventus RS3 from Ventus Racing optimized for circuit driving, iON evo AS SUV from the world’s first full line-up electric vehicle tire brand iON (pronounced /ai'on/), as well as Winter i*cept evo3 SUV from Winter i*cept premium.

Starting with BMW’s premium compact car brand MINI in 2011, Hankook Tire has been supplying original equipment tires (OETs) to popular BMW models such as the 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 series, X1, X3, and X5 SUV models, and New 7 Series flagship models.

In addition, the company also supplied original equipment tires to BMW‘s high-performance brand M’s SUV models - X3 M and X4 M in 2021, proving its innovative technology in the high-performance tire sector. In 2022, the company expanded its portfolio to BMW’s first all-electric Gran Coupe, i4, establishing itself as a partner of BMW’s electrification project.

Hankook Tire has collaborated with BMW Group Korea in January of this year and July of last year to promote the global premium brand image of both companies to customers worldwide. The companies released two brand collaboration videos online, titled "iON with BMW i7" and "Ventus with BMW M." These videos showcased the dynamic driving of BMW high-performance vehicles at high-tech research institute Hankook Technodome and Asia's largest test track, Hankook Technoring, respectively.

Based on its advanced high-performance tire technology accumulated through supplying original equipment tires, Hankook Tire plans to offer visitors to the BMW Driving Center the opportunity to put its tires to the test in extreme conditions..

The BMW Driving Center, located in Incheon, Korea, is at the forefront of the Korean automotive culture, offering eight driving courses suitable for both car enthusiasts and general visitors, as well as a driving track spanning up to 2.6 kilometers across an area of 291,802 square meters, providing a systematic and professional driving performance experience.
