According to leading online web site Phone Arena on June 18, Chinese social media website Weibo posted about the LG G4 Pro.
It said that the LG G4 Pro will feature a 5.8-inch quad high definition (QHD) screen with a 2560 x 1440 resolution, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, and 4GB of RAM. A 27MP camera adorns the back of the phablet and an 8MP snapper can be found in front. Also, it has 32GB or 64GB of internal storage space. An all-metal body is confirmed.
Considering the fact that the G4 features 3GB of RAM, and a 16MP camera on the rear, the G4 Pro is expected to deliver higher performance than the G4. The greater the RAM, the more high-performance apps you can run easily and simultaneously, allowing you to multi-task. Also, you will be able to make better and clearer images with a 27MP camera.
Previously, LG has promised to roll out a super-premium smartphone, which has higher specs than the existing G4 series, in the second half of this year. The latest rumor is that this phone will be known as the LG G4 Pro and is expected to be unveiled in Oct.
As it is certain that its competitors will start launching new products such as the Samsung Electronics Galaxy S6 Plus and S6 Plus Edge, and the new Apple iPhone 6S from Sept., LG Electronics appears to have a strategy to not lose out on its competitors with the G4 Pro.
