Doosan Infracore’s attempt to grow together with its partner companies is now the talk of the town.

The company announced on June 10 that Doosan Infracore CEO Son Dong-yeon visited Woojin, one of its partner companies located in Seosan, South Chungcheong Province, to listen to its difficulties and discuss cooperation plans on June 9.

Woojin was selected as a leading supplier by Doosan Infracore last year. Also, it is the construction equipment parts manufacturer that is fully supported by the company to strengthen its competitiveness. With support from Doosan, Woojin has become the first large canning company to run the manufacturing information system and improve the performance of a logistics system through the improvement of an integrated layout.

Discussing the plan for shared growth, CEO Son said, “In order to grow into a global hidden champion, the company needs to strengthen its competitiveness further, including with quality enhancement and internal manpower training. By systematizing the measures to grow together, let’s make a virtuous cycle of shared growth culture together.”

Doosan Infracore selects “leading suppliers” among its partner companies, which have the potential to grow into global parts companies, and supports them. Chosen partner companies will be provided its customized education programs with 19 execution modules and consultation services from internal experts in the purchase, technology, production, and quality sectors for a year to improve its capability and internalization.
