The CEO of Construction Association of Korea, Park Jong-woong invited Park Won-soon, the mayor of Seoul, to a breakfast seminar held at the Renaissance Hotel in Seoul attended by more than 200 members.
Park Won-soon described the direction of the city Seoul with the topic of 'The City Plan Going along with Companies, Give your Opinion’ and committed to reflect the opinions gathered in the field of construction to civic betterment, and gave careful attention to current issues of the local construction industry including complaints from attendees.
The attendees requested to relieve some irrational issues generating in the industry due to the recession period of construction field.
One of attendees commented, "Despite an increase of social welfare needs, the municipal budget of community-based facilities for 2013 does not lessen. I expect to jointly move forward in order to create livable Seoul under the circumstances of various support measures for construction industry form the government."
