Samsung Chairman Lee Kun-hee seems to be doing better. He has not fully recovered, but he can breathe on his own without a respirator. Also, according to the article, in another picture Lee reacts to some external stimuli a year and a month after he suffered from an acute myocardial infarction in May last year.

Accordingly, rumors over Lee’s health and death are expected to disappear for a while.

According to local Internet media site The Fact on June 2, Lee was photographed resting in a VIP room at Samsung Seoul Hospital.

In the picture, Lee looks healthy enough to breathe on his own without any respirator or other medical apparatus. Also, the medical staff seem to regularly checked on him, but he is not in a critical condition.

Moreover, a TV can be seen in the room, too. It is rumored that Chairman Lee was watching a Samsung team baseball match. However, rumors also say that his vocal abilities have not fully recovered. An official from Samsung said, “It is true that Chairman Lee is getting better every day, but it is hard to confirm details.” Previously, the company announced that Lee’s health has recovered to be healthy enough to sit in a wheelchair.

Also, Choi Ji-sung, head of the future strategy office and vice chairman at Samsung, was found debriefing daily business reports.
