Kwang Dong Pharmaceutical. Co., Ltd donated pharmaceuticals worth about 300 million won to the Nepalese Embassy in South Korea on May 22, the company said.

The pharmaceuticals include antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkillers, and peptic ulcer solvents, which will be used for the Nepalese victims of the earthquake that happened last month, the company said.

Kim Hyun-sik is president of the company and hoped the company’s pharmaceuticals will help the hope and healing of the disaster victims.

The company also supported medical volunteering in the Philippines via donating antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkillers, and vitamin D injections for South Korean medical volunteers helping about 600 Filipinos on May 16 and 17, the company said.
