Agree to Set up a Joint Venture with ZKRG

Doosan Fuel Cell’s hydrogen fuel cells

Doosan Fuel Cell will export hydrogen fuel cells to China. The company announced on Nov. 21 that it has signed a hydrogen fuel cell supply contract with China’s ZKRG. The contract amount is 346.9 billion won, close to the company's entire 2021 sales of 381.4 billion won. 

Doosan Fuel Cell also agreed to set up a joint venture with ZKRG.

Under this contract, Doosan Fuel Cell will export a total of 105MW hydrogen fuel cells to China. Of these, 50MW will be exported in the form of finished products by 2024 and 55MW in the form of parts by 2026.

In addition, the two companies agreed to cooperate in supporting the creation of a hydrogen fuel cell power generation market in China, discovering business opportunities and selling hydrogen fuel cells through the establishment of the joint venture. They will supply hydrogen fuel cells to a pilot project to open a hospital without carbon emissions planned in Guangdong Province, China.
