KEPCO won the “Invest in Provence Award” from the “ITER Business Forum 2015” in Marseille, France.

The Invest in Provence Award is awarded by the Provence Foreign investment Promotion Agency and the Marseille Chamber of Commerce and Industry to foreign companies that contribute to the local economy in France.

KEPCO E&C received an award for the promotion of the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) project by establishing the ITER International Organization Liaison Office in Aix-en-Provence, in last June, to boost local support, KEPCO said.

Director General of ITER Bernard Bigot congratulated KEPCO E&C for the award and expressed his appreciation for KEPCO E&C’s active support by stating that “cooperation with the global company KEPCO E&C is a big help in improving the programs and organizational capability of the ITER,” according to KEPCO.
