The Embassy of Denmark kicked off its series of cultural events titled “Delicious Denmark,” where guests can get a hands-on experience with Danish culture by cooking with Danes. The first event was held Sept. 30th at the Mad og Hygge cooking studio in Mapo-gu, Seoul, with 3 more to follow focusing on introducing Seoulites to Danish food, design, lifestyle, and culture in general.

Arctic Seoul

The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Seoul and the Fram Museum in Oslo invite Koreans to see the ever-changing face of the high arctic through poster and video shows. “Explore The Arctic - Past, Present and Future” is going to be held at the gallery of the Korea Foundation from Oct. 29 to Nov. 12. The exhibition aims to break the common perception of the Arctic as being a vast, desolate ice-clad region populated almost exclusively by polar bears.

The New Zealand Embassy in Korea threw a traditional Maori feast called a “hangi” at the Grand Hyatt Hotel on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015 to launch a month-long New Zealand Festival in Korea to celebrate the two countries' new FTA.
