KT will participate in the 1st 2018 PyeongChang Paralympic Day as an official partner. 

The event will be held every year for three years until 2017, in order to attract public interest in the PyeongChang Paralympics. 

KT is planning to allow the disabled, who participate in Paralympic Day, to indirectly experience winter sports using ICT.

A new long-acting sustained-release human growth hormone LAPSrhGH, which Hanmi Pharmaceutical has been developing, was presented at an international medical organization. 

Hanmi Pharmaceutical announced the findings of Phase 1 clinical trials with LAPSrhGH in Korea, and the interim results of Phase 2 in multiple countries at the Endocrine Society (ENDO) being held in San Diego, U.S., from March 5 to 8.

With new technology, Green Cross is expanding its business in China, following its expansion to the North American market, which is the largest pharmaceutical market in the world. 

On March 6, Green Cross signed an MOU with the Guizhou Province in China for investment in a project related to cell cures. Under the agreement, the company will invest in order to produce and distribute the cell cure products in China.

Ahngook Pharmaceutical has signed an exclusive contract with Iranian pharmaceutical company Koushan Pharmed to supply them with its “Synatura Syrup” cough medicine.

Under the contract, Koushan Pharmed will deal with the licensing and sale of Synatura Syrup in Iran. Ahngook Pharmaceutical is expected to see exports worth nearly US$3 million (3.3 billion won) annually after the Iran release.
