SK Holdings C&C will actively promote and spread the digital conversion of all of its industrial sectors this year.

According to SK Holdings C&C on January 9, SK Corp. CEO Jang Dong-hyun said in his New Year message that he will take the lead in taking the company to the next level by means of the creation of new value. In particular, CEO Jang emphasized that in the field of information and communication technology (ICT), the company will strengthen its capabilities and make decisive investment under its main vision to realize digital transformation-oriented growth and build a long-term and sustainable profit structure.

Accordingly, SK Holdings C&C reorganized itself this year to build up its enterprise-wide capabilities, expand its responsibility-based management by industries and create a high-profit, future-oriented business model by yielding results of sharing infrastructure.

SK Holdings C&C has secured core technologies for digital conversion such as the internet of things (IoT), clouds, big data and AI among others.

In September last year, Watson released eight Korean application programming interfaces (APIs) and paved the way for the commercialization of enterprise data, announcing the popularization of artificial intelligence service development. After connecting to Aibril Portal, one can develop desired artificial intelligence services such as search, learning, conversation and grasping personal preferences and tastes by assembling an API with an AI service like a block. Aibril based on a Korean-language API of Watson, can be applied to any type of services or products.
