NH Bank announced that it kicked off an employee training program with the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam. A total of 300 loan-handling staff members divided into eight teams are scheduled to be invited from the Vietnamese bank from September 25.

The first team visited the main office of NH Bank and learned about the South Korean bank’s major projects, loan handling processes, risk management policy, lending to farming households, etc.

NH Bank signed a business agreement with the Vietnamese bank in 2013. They are planning to release a joint remittance service that requires no bank account within this year.

The Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam, also known as Agribank of Vietnam, was established in 1988, fully invested by the central bank of the country. It is currently the largest bank in Vietnam in terms of size of capital and the number of branches.
