A grand Queen’s Birthday Ball is going to be held to celebrate Her Majesty’s 90th birthday at the Grand Hyatt, Seoul on June 4, 2016. The largest annual dinner celebration of the British community in Korea aims to honour the birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and raise funds to support charities. The dinner will be attended by over 500 senior business and diplomatic guests.

The celebration is jointly organised by the British Chamber of Commerce in Korea (BCCK) and British Association of Seoul (BASS).

On the occassion, Sean Blakeley, the CEO of BCCK said, "This is the largest event of the year for the British community in Seoul and also one of the largest for the expat community as well. We bring together British, foreign and Korean business people to celebrate Her Majesty's Birthday and also to celebrate the success of British companies here in Korea. With lots of great food, entertainment, raffle, auction and even a secret theme, The Queen's Birthday Ball is always a great evening."

Though the theme of the ball is a secret, guests will indulge in quintessential British ambiance with British food and drinks amidst a British festive spirit. A British Korean band called Pentasonic will be performing as well.
